Join us for a discussion on the extraordinary progress made in the fight against HIV. From the challenging times of the 1980s, marked by limited treatments and uncertainty, to the present day’s landscape of hope and effective management, our journey has been remarkable. This talk will celebrate the groundbreaking advancements and the resilient advocacy that have dramatically transformed the lives of those living with HIV.

Christopher Evans is an infectious diseases physician with an additional certification as an HIV specialist from the Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr Evans has a strong interest in HIV primary care and hepatitis C treatment.  He also enjoys teaching medical students,  residents, and fellows at OHSU.
