Art Auction

For over 30 years, the annual CAP Art Auction has been renowned as Portland’s best party, featuring top-drawer art, food, and guests. The auction is held every May and is one of our biggest fundraisers. Art Auction is essentially two parties in one: a multi-course gourmet dinner and live auction, and a rocking party and silent auction. Guests can simply attend the silent auction and party, or can opt to attend the dinner as well.

This year’s event is April, 29th at Montgomery Park. For more information visit www.capartauction.org

AIDS Walk

Our annual AIDS Walk Portland is a fun walk for the whole family to raise awareness of and funds for the fight against HIV/AIDS. This 2.4-mile walk brings together individuals, teams, and volunteers to raise much-needed funds for the fight against AIDS. Participants enjoy music, entertainment, the Kids’ Corner (arts and crafts, face painting, prizes, and balloons), and inspirational presentations from community leaders. The focus of AIDS Walk is to increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education in order to remind the community that HIV has not gone away, the number of people infected continues to rise, and there are many things you can do to help.

This year’s walk takes place on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the Fields Neighborhood Park, Portland’s Newest Park. Check-in begins at 11:00am and the walk officially kicks off at 12:30pm. For more information visit www.aidswalkportland.org
